Cucumbers
I remove these early cucumbers that develop on the bed, Ideally I want maturing cucumbers hanging away from the plant, the prickly leaves and stalks can rip the skins of the rapidly forming cucumbers, I grow the plants up at least 3 ft, then send the runners at 90 degrees along a frame and keep them there with regular tying, the cucumbers then grow and hang in rows watch this blog for photo,s ( Class 1 tip for unblemished skins on Cucumbers for showing)
