I,m a big fan of butterflies,(big fan get it :)? )this overgrown buddhlea,is tough enough to take a hard prune and still feed the the butterflies, bees and insects, its just coming into flower - No 1 in my garden for Admiral and Peacock butterflies *** COMING SOON ***

For Greenhouse,Shed,or Polytunnel use: This only took a few minutes to make out of a half of a bagette carton and some rolled up corregated cardboard tubes, a scrap piece of curtain wire went through the middle, the plastic lid has the beneficial effect of keeping it hot and dry in the roof of the Lacewing House - this one is hung in my polytunnel

Looking after beneficial insects doesnt have to cost you any money, using recyclable items can create Free lodgings for Lacewings
Big Daddies Great Great Grandson (sunflower single) and 3 Autumn King Sunflowers, these have in previous years produced up to 10 heads of a varety of shades of gold and amber, interspersed with streaks of rich velvety brown, stunners to look at,great food for the bees, leave the heads on over the winter to feed the birds a rich oily seed just when they need it the most, expect finches, both Gold and green can be regular visitors if they are in your area
These 3 tomato cuttings have taken a treat, I,m not going to standardise these....instead they will be allowed to bush against a sunny fence outside.......and given some of Grandads "SECRET application" ssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhh
